Stratega

The new sport of Stratega was created by Henry S Clifton from New Jersey  in 2018. Stratega is a safer form of Gridiron Football. This game has it's own field and unique ball in development. Almost everything is different than American football while remaining Gridiron Football. 

Equipment Required: American football helmet & pads are a must.

Sport Description

Stratega has more Rugby DNA in several ways. Stratega can be played on any football or Rugby field making it the Global Gridiron Game.

There's a 50 minute clock with two 25 minute halves. Scoring values count down from 5 to 1.  

Crown = 5 (touchdown)
Jack = 4 (safety)
Triple = 3 (dropkick)
Deuce =2 (punted field goal)
Ace = 1 (downed touchback) 

There's a whole lot more. Stratega has 4 major safety innovations that eliminate violent collisions which cause concussions. These innovations actually led to a whole new set of challenges for the athletes. That's when the ideas for a completely new game snowballed.
